Profile: What Makes AVVA Divine Craft Gin Special
In the heart of the Scottish Speyside, the region renowned for its wealth of malt whisky distilleries, Jill Brown distils her London dry craft gin in the first gin still ever built in Scotland. The still was constructed by the locally based company Speyside Copper Works – in honour of her grandmothers, who made a name for themselves producing liqueur, Jill affectionately named her pot still “Jessie Jean”. AVVA Scottish Gin is made using eleven botanicals, five of which are sourced from the region and partly grown and harvested by Jill herself. The sample is ideal for an easy introduction to this regional Speyside gin.
