The recipe for this South African gin comes from distiller and restaurateur Helmut Wilderer from Karlsruhe, who found his home in South Africa. Eighteen long months of trial and testing at The Grape Grinder, and after more than one hundred test distillations, the first bottle was finally filled. Cape Fynbos Gin is distilled in collaboration with the Wilderer Distillery in Paarl – from the finest white spirits, in small batches of forty litres each! The sample is ideal for an easy introduction to this unique South African style.
