For this bottling, Gordon & MacPhail selected a 10-year-old Miltonduff from the Scottish Speyside.
Tasting Notes: What Miltonduff 10 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail Discovery Tastes Like
- Nose: Dry sherry aromas and juicy raisins, plus chocolate and orange marmalade – baked apples and freshly cut grass in the background
- Palate: Sweet and spicy with lovely notes of creamy fudge and toasted hazelnuts, orange peel and spicy pepper notes behind that – ripe plums and fig jam over everything
- Finish: Very long in the finish with plenty of chocolate and stewed fruit – plus wintery spices like cardamom and anise
