The classic blended malt whisky from MARS - Maltage Cosmo - is characterized by a sweet, round taste, with notes of honey, caramel, and a hint of smokiness. Cosmo refers to the iconic mountain near the MARS Komagatake Distillery. This blended malt combines impressive maturity with the vibrant energy of a young whisky.

Hätte mir diesen japanischen Blend warscheinlich nicht gekauft, wenn ich nicht vorher eine Kostprobe nehmen konnte. Trotz der erwarteten Süße nach Honig und Karamel kommt die Kombination mit Rauch und fruchtigen Tönen seht gut bei mir an. So ist es nicht nur süßer Sirup sondern bringt viel mehr in den Mund. Hier kommt wohl der heimliche (nicht namentliche) Mix mit schottischen Whiskies zu tragen.
