The Scottish Speyside distillery is located, unsurprisingly, in Speyside – under the name Beinn Dubh, the distillery bottles a whisky that matured in heavily charred former port casks from Portugal's Douro Valley – the result is a single malt whisky of extremely dark colour. The sample is ideal for an easy introduction to this unusually dark style.
