Nose: very sweet on the nose, lots of cream caramel, lots of fruit, toffee and fudge, then apples and peaches - some bourbon vanilla and oak
Taste: sweet and powerful at the beginning - the dry distillery character is clear - fruity notes are present again, with some mint
Finish: long, sweet - slightly dry finish

Etwas enttäuscht hat er mich. Ich habe über Campbeltown gelesen, daß die Whiskys alle tor-
fig wären mit einer gewissen salzigen Küstennote, dabei aber trocken und komplex wirken würden. Ich hätte mir tatsächlich etwas mehr Torf gewünscht, was dem Whisky bestimmt
nicht schaden würde, weil er ansonsten wirklich gut ist. Deshalb eine 4.

Wahnsinnig guter Whiskey mit einem sehr ausgewogenem Geschmack. Hat auch dem geübten Gaumen geschmeckt.
