Since 1898 Ardmore has been distilled in an almost unchanged manner.
The Legacy is a lightly tinged single malt whisky with a delicate creamy vanilla note.

Nose: sweet honey and light peat smoke
Taste: The honey is now joined by spicy notes, creamy vanilla and a velvety peat taste
Finish: warming, the honey and spices are still unmistakably present, as well as the sweet peat taste and some oak

Der Ardmore Legacy besticht durch ein tolles, vielschichtiges Aroma. Angenehme Rauchnote, nicht zu rauchig. Der Geschmack wird nicht von zu viel Rauch überlagert. Lang anhaltender, trockener, intensiver Abgang. Für den Preis sehr zu empfehlen, er schlägt manch teureren Whisky.

Negativ zu erwähnen ist allerdings der Farbstoff, darauf könnte ich gut verzichten, aber so ist es nun mal. Trotzdem werde ihn öfter kaufen weil er mich geschmacklich überzeugt hat. Eigentlich hätte er 5 Punkte verdient aber wegen dem Farbstoff einen halben weniger. Halbe Punkte kann man aber nicht vergeben, deswegen wird aufgerundet.
