Jim Beam Black Extra Aged matures considerably longer than the standard bottling. The result is a lightly sweet bourbon with fruity notes, plus plenty of spicy oak and tones of ripe grain. Officially it is described as full-bodied with smooth caramel and warm oak.

- Nose: Bright caramel, charred oak, orange zest, vanilla and toffee; espresso, honey, a little rye, mint, citrus rind and cherries

"Very bourbon" für's Geld
Ich bekam den Whisky blind zum Test vorgesetzt und tippte erst auf einen Maker's Mark in Sonderedition: deutliche Note von Checkerberry, etwas Karamell, wenig Schärfe. Sicher kein Wunder an Komplexität, aber rund, ausgewogen und angesichts des Preises ohne große Schwächen.

Super netter Kontakt, schnelle Lieferung!
