Profile: What Makes Evan Williams Bourbon Special
Evan Williams is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey from Heaven Hill at 43% ABV. The standard bottling is sold as “Black Label” and is one of the best-selling bourbons in the world; it is Heaven Hill’s flagship brand.
The dark bourbon shows very nicely pronounced vanilla and honey notes.
Tasting Notes: What Evan Williams Bourbon Tastes Like
- Nose: Strong with oak, cherries and vanilla; baking spices and brown sugar, dark cherries and some oak in the back
- Palate: Vanilla cream, caramel and soft oak; smooth, medium-bodied with pleasant warmth, lightly sweet with oak, fresh bread and baking spice
- Finish: Medium with gentle rye spice, charred oak and leather, plus caramel, peanut butter and a touch of spice

Sieht eigentlich billig aus, ist aber ein harmonischer leichter sehr bekömmlicher Whisky.
