Deanston is back! The Scottish Highland distillery bottles its 12-year-old without chill-filtration and without added colouring. At 46.3% ABV it is dense and oily – an honest, creamy Highland malt.
Tasting Notes: What Deanston 12 Year Old Tastes Like
- Nose: Fresh on the nose, with floral and citrus aromas, followed by aromas of heather and honey, slightly sweet-malty; fresh hay, cereal and toffee
- Palate: Honey and sweet malt dominate at first, then oranges and a touch of ginger join – very creamy; vanilla custard, pepper and cardamom
- Finish: Long and gentle, the sweet honey again with a slightly spicy edge; cloves and dry oak tannins

Toller Whisky, dem man auch gerne ein paar Tropfen Wasser zufügen kann. Dann schmeckt er nicht so alkohollastig.
