Winner of the silver medal "Outstanding" in the category Blended Malt at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2013

In 1976, Iain Noble Bart founded the company with the Gaelic name "Pràban Na Linne" on the Isle of Skye.
Iain Noble Bart is keen to pass on the Gaelic heritage of Scotland.
In addition to his whiskys, which invariably bear all the Gaelic names, he founded a Gaelic college in Scotland.
The Scots say a whisky with a Gaelic name on its label tastes so good again.

"Poit Dhubh" (pronounced: Potch Ghoo) means black pot still, which means "black distilled whisky".
