Founded in 1896 in Dufftown, Speyside, Dufftown came to Arthur Bell & in 1933 ; Sons - and it is precisely in these blends that the majority of production disappears to this day.
The Singleton of Dufftown matures for 15 year old exclusively in European and American oak Casks.
Tasting Notes: This is how The Singleton of Dufftown 15 year old tastes like
- Nose: at the beginning slightly spicy aromas, then sweet aromas of freshly squeezed honey and caramel apples follow - in the background slightly oily hints of linseed and nuts
- Palate: warm and soft with delicate notes of ripe light fruits, with some toffee - above all spicy notes of fresh herbs and spices
- Finish: Surprisingly dry in the finish - alongside ripe pears, spicy tones now dominate, especially aniseed, herbs and fresh pastries

Zwiespältig, an einem Tag sehr angenehm, am anderen Tag eher kratzig und rau. Auf jeden Fall einen Versuch wert. Werden wir auch wieder kaufen.
