Already in the ninth generation, the family of Don José Colom Darbo runs the Bodega “La Cigarrera”, purchased in 1758. The bodega carries the denomination of origin “Jerez-Xérès-Sherry y Manzanilla – Sanlúcar de Barrameda” and produces its sherries using traditional methods. The sherries produced at La Cigarrera are fine, fresh and aromatic. All sherries at La Cigarrera are made using the solera system, ensuring that the characteristics of the older wines blend with those of the younger ones, keeping the outstanding quality and character of the product consistent. Manzanilla sherry is made from a careful selection of choice musts of the Palomino grape variety.
