The 15-year-old Glenlivet matured in casks of French oak. The Limousin wood used is popular for maturing Cognac; its low density lets the distillate penetrate deep into the wood and absorb more of its natural flavours.

Sherry und ein wenig Eiche. Würde ich nicht als unbedingt mild bezeichnen. Der 12-jährige ist meiner Meinung nach erheblich ausgewogener.

ein sehr milder whisky, ich bin anfänger in sachen whisky aber der ist sehr locker zu trinken !!! nicht rass und nicht scharf im gaumen !!! empfehlenswert !!!!
