The 15-year-old Glenlivet matured in casks of French oak. The Limousin wood used is popular for maturing Cognac; its low density lets the distillate penetrate deep into the wood and absorb more of its natural flavours.
Elegant floral nuances combine with spicy oak; on the palate come cinnamon, cloves and toffee.

Fruchtige Süße mit Vanille und etwas Honig, dann kommt eine würzige Eichennote , keine alkoholische Schärfe, mittellanger Abgang.
