In 1968, George S. Grant first bottled a single cask at cask strength – as a Christmas gift for friends and family. This cask had a strength of 105° British Proof, or 60% ABV. Since then, special casks have been selected and married together at Glenfarclas for this bottling, so that an alcohol content of 60% ABV is reached without the addition of water. The sample is ideal for an easy introduction to this powerful style.
