In the evergreen Macouba on Martinique, Rhum J.M. is one of the few distilleries in the world that distills Rhum Agricole. This small Antillean distillery follows the strict regulations of the "Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée". Rhum J.M. has been passing on the tradition of meeting such high standards of production and enjoyment since 1845.

La Dame Jeanne No. 3 combines six rare rums distilled between 2004 and 2014. The distillates, made from freshly pressed sugar cane juice, matured for at least nine, but up to 18 years in the island's tropical climate. Bottled from bourbon and new American oak barrels, all ingredients were blended at natural cask strength and without additives.
Thevery limited assemblage is reminiscent of the glass containers called “Dame Jeanne”, which were once used to store and transport rum.

• Nose: delicate tropical fruit aromas greet the nose - banana, mango, and a hint of papaya characterize the first impression, followed by fine hints of vanilla and subtle spice aromas
• Palate: pleasantly soft and mild on the palate - initially, the fruity nuances dominate again, before stronger, spicy notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and coriander unfold
• Finish: long-lasting and smooth finish - fruity freshness and spicy depth form a harmonious conclusion
