Edradour has been fairly high in popularity among single malt fans since it was taken over by Signatory founder Andrew Symington in 2002. The unadulterated, sometimes very smoky whiskies from the distillery, located in the Highlands east of Pitlochry, are sometimes made using original equipment from the 19th century. For seven new single casks in winter 2024, “Scotland's Little Gem” joined forces for the first time with one of the most renowned addresses for fine wines: the St. Michael-Eppan winery from South Tyrol.
For the prestige series “Sanct Valentin” cellar master Hans Terzer, with around 40 years of experience, selects exclusively top wines. These exquisite grapes create remarkable wines whose complexity, elegance and minerality are appreciated worldwide. Now also by whisky lovers.
The 11 to 13 year old single malts were fully matured in the rare first-fill Casks from St. Michael-Eppan.
