The Panama 12 Year old - T. Sonthi is a blend of rum that has been stored for up to 12 years. The different vintages are distilled from molasses in the column still and in the pot still.
The selected rum qualities were stored in former bourbon and sherry casks and come from Panama and to a small extent from Jamaica.
The result is a multi-layered, complex rum with pronounced aromas of vanilla and walnut, accompanied by a taste with notes of dark fruit, sweet oak and chocolate.
The Panama 12 Year old - T. Sonthi is made with 44.3%vol. alcohol content and is a Spiced Rum (rum-based spirit) because it is sweetened with 33g of sugar per liter of pure alcohol and is refined.
