One of the most diverse countries in the world is located in northwestern South America on the Pacific coast.
Sugar cane is also cultivated in Ecuador between the rainforests in the Amazon basin, the highlands in the Andes and the plains on the coast.
Compared to other Latin American countries, however, it is less extensive.
Sugarcane-based gins from Ecuador therefore rarely enrich the European market.

The sonorous name Cruzloma (engl: mountain summit cross) is shared by a mountain peak in the volcanic mountains near the capital Quito in Ecuador, a great battle for the independence of the South American country on that very mountain - and a London Dry Gin.

A little north of the Ecuadorian capital Quito, right on the equator, Cruzloma is distilled by hand in a 200 liter pot still.
The Craft London Dry Gin complements its dominant juniper core with botanicals from Europe, Asia and the Amazon region in Ecuador - such as leaves of the guayusa plant from the rainforest or coca leaves from the Andes, which have been chewed by locals since time immemorial.

Together with 12 other botanicals, the regional ingredients ferment in a sugar cane distillate.
After distillation, the Cruzloma London Dry Gin is distilled with volcanic water to an aromatic alcohol content of 44% vol. brought.

Nose: fine aromas of ripe lemons and lemons, plus mild, spicy aromas
Palate: full and soft in taste with an elegantly spicy note, plus fresh herbs and citrus fruits again
Finish: silky soft in the long finish with slightly peppery hints

Botanicals: Juniper, Guayusa, Coca Leaf, Licorice, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Sweet Pepper, Rosemary, Coriander, Fennel, Anise, Lavender, Linden Blossom, Orange, Lime
