Product information "Dictador Platinum Pt 78 40%vol. 0,7l"
The sugar cane for Dictador grows in what was originally the first sugar cane growing area in South America on the coast of the Caribbean Sea.
The coastal climate is fertile and ensures abundant, high-quality harvests of the tall cane - and the sugar cane honey.
After After fermentation, it is partly distilled in alambic copper stills and partly in column stills made of steel. This is how the distillery gets its typically balanced medium-bodied rums.

This unfolds in oak barrels during tropical ripening, sometimes also in sherry and port wine barrels.
Due to the high degree of evaporation in the Caribbean climate, the Parras use a process that is reminiscent of the Solera method, but only mixes rums from the same vintage .
For this, the Angel’s Share of the barrels is compensated by filling up with rum of the same age. These "single vintage" rums thus preserve as large a quantity as possible of the rums that have matured over many years - in their purest form.

Nose: Spicy aromas - especially ripe chestnuts and heather honey, plus spicy oak and some vanilla - above all fresh cream and toffee
Palate: very soft and mouth-filling with strong notes of dark chocolate and freshly roasted coffee, followed by toffee and vanilla - then fruity tones of juicy dried fruits follow
Finish: soft and warming in the very long finish - sweetness and spice go hand in hand
