Compañero is Spanish Word for comrade and it stands for the Compañero series from 1423, for which taste, complexity and finish are the central key concepts.
The three standards of this series, the Gran Reserva, the Elixir Orange and the Panama Etra Añejo, are from the classic rum countries Trinidad, Jamaica and Panama.
With an alcohol content of an impressive 54% vol. The Companero Panama Extra Anejo is a strong, spiced Rum with a very nice chocolate note that hides the high alcohol content well.

- Nose: heavy dark chocolate, with warm cream and a Hint of citrus fruits
- Palate: mouth-filling and soft - very reminiscent of milk chocolate and cocoa - plus spicy notes of oak barrels and a bit of orange - but the chocolate note is the dominant note
