Hunters of good taste: Nc'nean is launching a new series of special bottlings with Huntress
Nc'nean knows how to go your own way.
The pioneering distillery has already made an impressive mark in terms of sustainable whiskey production - for example by being the first whiskey distillery in the UK to be certified with net zero emissions.
In addition to the well-being of the planet, Nc'nean follows another path: enriching the whiskey world with new taste experiences.
Instead, Annabel Thomas and her team have fun with innovative and experimental approaches, the results of which are published in a new, seasonal series: Huntress.
It starts with Nc'nean Huntress 2022.
With the single malt in the dark recycled bottle, the distillery from the Morvern peninsula is presenting for the first time the result of its experiments with yeast - the ingredient for fascinating aromas.
In an unconventional way, Huntress was made with three strains of yeast.
Included: DistilaMax RM.
Commonly used in rum making, the variety in Huntress 2022 brings out notes of tropical fruit paired with a luscious minerality that brings a new complexity to the limited edition whiskey.
