This 11- year old GlenAllachie matured in American white oak Barrels for more than nine years before the mahogany-colored single malt whisky moved to Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheons for a lovely fruity finish.
Nose: waves of dark chocolate, plantains and sultanas, with pineapple and nutmeg
Taste: dark chocolate, syrup and heather honey, fused with sultanas, pineapple, orange peel and cinnamon
