Product information "GlenAllachie 11 year old Pedro Ximénez Sherry Wood Finish 48%vol. 0,7l"
The influence of Casks on single malt whisky - study it is Billy Walker's mission in life.
The luminary can devote himself to the phenomenon in particular in the Wood Finish Series launched in 2019.
The range consists of innovative single-malt bottlings with different post-maturations, which are clearly shaped by the selected Casks.
For this, Billy Walker secures puncheons, pipes and co. from small producers worldwide.

For the new Batch 3 of the Wood Finish Series, he refined GlenAllachie single malt whisky in former sherry, port and Madeira Casks.

This 11- year old GlenAllachie matured in American white oak Barrels for more than nine years before the mahogany-colored single malt whisky moved to Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheons for a lovely fruity finish.

Nose: waves of dark chocolate, plantains and sultanas, with pineapple and nutmeg
Taste: dark chocolate, syrup and heather honey, fused with sultanas, pineapple, orange peel and cinnamon
