This limited edition pays homage to Louis and Charles Isautier, who founded the oldest still operating distillery in 1845 on Reunion Island.
A Excellent blended rum, which consists in equal parts of 20-year-old Rhum Agricole and 14-year-old Rhum Traditionnel.
The two rum qualities were stored in the Isautier cellar vaults initially for 6 to 14 months in new French oak barrels and then for the remaining years in older barrels, the so-called "fûts roux".

The Rhum Agricole offers a soft, rounded taste profile, while the Rhum Traditionnel gives off freshness and intensity.
Balanced, rich and with a subtle oak note, the rum is a delicate, sensual rum with an exuberant finish.

Nose: there is a wonderfully aromatic finesse in the nose: exotic precious wood underlaid with slightly roasted notes and a hint of pepper.
Taste: fine and long-lasting on the palate, with a unique abundance of Citrus and vanilla notes
Finish: the long, harmonious finish reveals extraordinary freshness and a slight hint of sea spray - so characteristic of Isautier Old Rums

This one Rum is perfect as an aperitif or digestif.
Serve in a stemmed glass at room temperature.
