Casg Annamh is Gaelic and means "rare Cask"!
This bottling matured in Spanish exOloroso sherry casks and two different types of American oak Casks.
Nose: rich and sweet aromas, lots of fruit, especially oranges and glacé cherries - followed by raisins and some ginger
Palate: sweet and fruity in the taste - particularly ripe apples and cinnamon rolls, in addition to ripe peaches - above all spicy notes of licorice and cloves
Finish: long, rich finish - again the fruits, with a touch of dry seasoning
