Bombay Sapphire is made at the historic Laverstoke Mill Distillery in England and is recognisable by its blue bottle. Its hallmark is vapour infusion: the botanicals are never boiled but permeated by vapour, so that every last drop of their flavour is drawn out.
The gin contains ten botanicals, including juniper, lemon peel, grains of paradise, angelica root, coriander seeds, cubeb berries, orris root, almonds, cassia bark and liquorice root. The result is fresh, bright citrus notes, a lively juniper character and an elegant, lightly spicy finish.
