The unusual gift pack contains a small smoker for smoking chips, which ensures the right smoky aroma of the grilled food when grilling.Ardbeg's latest bottling - named after the peninsula Oa on Islay (An Oa - pronounced: an: oh) The cape of the Oa Peninsula is the southernmost tip of the Isle of Hebrides. 202 meters high, the "Mull of Oa" defies many storms in the Atlantic and reliably protects the southern coast of Islay up to the Ardbeg Cove. The bay in which the Ardbeg distillery has been located for over 200 years.
This contrast - and the round shape of the cliff perfectly reflects the power and gentle sweetness of Ardbeg An Oa.
Nose: Smoke and creamy toffee aromas, with aniseed and dates - peach and banana in the background
Taste: soft and creamy with an intense syrup sweetness, milk chocolate, toffee and ripe oranges - light notes of Lapsang Souchong smoke tea, sweet and spicy with notes of nutmeg and cinnamon, some cigar smoke and grilled artichokes
Finish: smoky-sweet with slightly fruity notes
