The peated longrow from Springbank, the 2020 bottling has a high sherry cask content with 55% and a very interesting note with 20% rum cask content.
Aged in 55% exSherry, 25% exBourbon and 20% exRum casks, bottled in the year 2020.
Nose: at the beginning strawberries marinated in rum, paired with delicate peat smoke, oily aromas, then pineapple, mango and lemon sorbet
Taste: surprisingly sweet and smoky, like roasted marshmallows over a gate fire, intense notes of sea salt, dark chocolate, raisins, plums and molasses
Finish: clear peat and malt in the finish, like in a cold chimney, then licorice and damp bungee sheet
