For this bottling, Wemyss married five former Sherry Hogsheads from 1994 from Speyside and Highland distilleries with 15 exSherry Hogsheads from the Bunnahabhain distillery from 1988.
After blending, the malt whiskey became 14 refill for 16 months Hogsheads filled.
In 2019 the barrels were then filled into 5,000 bottles.
Nose: black currant jam and toffee, plus maple syrup, spices and the scent of an open cigar humidor
Taste : velvety-soft taste with intense fruity notes, especially dried figs, maraschino cherries, dates, plums and dried apricots, with milk chocolate and black forest cherry cake - in the background spicy oak and leather
Finish: a subtle sweetness with floral notes and Turkish Honey
