Profile: What Makes Brecon Chocolate Orange Gin Special
The distillery is located in the picturesque village of Penderyn, on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Alongside whisky, Penderyn also produces gin and vodka – handcrafted, with no flavouring added afterwards. Chocolate and orange were added to the classic Brecon Gin during distillation. On the palate, velvety-soft notes of chocolate, cocoa and orange, plus vanilla and juniper berries – cassia bark above them – creamy-soft with a pleasant mouthfeel.
