The origin of Remedy Spiced Rum in American Prohibition.
During the alcohol ban in the US, this spiced rum was made as a medicine in pharmacies and found so its way into the pubs and bars of the country. One hundred years later today, the old recipe has been revived with rums from Barbados, Dominican Republic and Trinidad.
Nose: Delicate, spicy aromas with a soft Sweet
Taste: fresh orange peel and soft vanilla, then spicy notes of cinnamon and ground pepper - again the orange peels above all - very full of character
Finish: soft and spicy on the finish with a pleasantly fruity sweetness
