The cask-aged gin from 1770 The Glasgow Distillery! The Glasgow Distillery Co. lets its aged gin mature in casks of new European oak. The result is a soft gin with intense juniper notes, spicy with a peppery finish.
The gin marries the juniper-led Original Dry with rich woody notes from maturing in small, handmade 50-litre casks of virgin European oak. The intense maturation gives it a golden colour.
Tasting Notes: What Makar Oak Aged Gin Tastes Like
- Nose: Fresh pine and smoky oak, rosemary and citrus, mellowed by soft notes of baked vanilla, warm spices and cinnamon
