Nine years this single malt matured at Glenfarclas in former Oloroso Sherry-Butts.

Aroma: spicy in the aroma, with gingerbread and dark fruits
Taste: soft and mouth-filling in the taste - again the spicy notes, in addition to fresh herbs, soft honey and red fruits
Finish: a long finish - warm and spicy with hints of honey and dark plums

Guter Glenfarclas - hätte etwas mehr Sherry erwartet. Ist m.E. noch zu jung!

Aroma: zunächst recht Alkohol lastig, geht allerdings nach einer Weile in Sherry über von Lebkuchen nichts zu spüren. Von der Nase ist er recht eindimensional.

Geschmack: starker Antritt auf der Zunge mit viel Pfeffer und Würze.

Abgang: Wärmend und kurz

Kommentar: Ein Genfarclas dem difinitiv ein paar Jahre Reifun besser stehen würden.
Von Glenfarclas bin ich besseres gewöhnt.
