After a long time finally available again!
Glendronachs 15-year revival stored in exPedro Ximenéz and exOloroso sherry casks.

Nose: clearly the scent of Maraschino cherries, with ripe blackberries and dark chocolate, some bitter orange and walnut liqueur
Taste: apricots glazed with honey and ripe figs, with hints of black cherries - angelica root and muscovado sugar in the background
Finish: long on the finish, clearly manuka honey and fresh herbs, behind it again the dark chocolate

Aufgrund der Preise: Wenn Glendronach, dann sehr gerne dieser. Der 12er ist zwar super bei dem Preis. Aber hier finden wir die richtige Sherry-Last. Tröstet über den Preis des 18er hinweg...

Ich hatte viel über den 15-jährigen gelesen und bin ein großer Fan des 18 jährigen. Für den Preis zum Zeitpunkt des Kaufs ein unschlagbares Geschmackserlebnis. Etwas fruchtiger als der 18er aber genau so edel und exklusiv. Ein Whisky mit Wiederkennungswert.

Sehr lecker - wenn auch preislich noch etwas ambitioniert

Ja, es gibt leichte Unterschiede zum "alten" Revival. Konnte ich durchaus überprüfen :-).
Aber auf seine eigene Art ein toll üppiger, süßer Oloroso-PX-Whisky. 1. Flasche war ein Geschenk. Werde ich nachkaufen.
