This premium rum is made on the largest of the Philippines Visayas Negros.
For more than 100 years, until the 1980s, the cultivation of sugar cane was the number one source of income here.
Don Papa Isio was a simple worker of a sugarcane plantation and became one of the heroes of the revolution in the Philippines in 1896-1898.
The named after him rum is made from one of the highest quality sugar cane species in the world at the foot of Mount Kanlaon only in small batches.
The rum ripens over seven years in American oak barrels.
A delicate premium rum, full-bodied in the taste with pronounced notes of fruit, honey and vanilla.
Aroma: fruity with sweet tangerines and apricots right at the beginning - then toffee and vanilla ice cream
Taste: still the fruitiness, with amounts of vanilla, honey and cinnamon - some raisins and fruity-sweet jam
Finish: long and warm

High-quality processed with many storage compartments and a removable, padded bag with more compartments.
At the front two buckled leather buckles with leather trim, a large storage compartment with zipper and integrated small pocket with extra zipper.
On the two outer sides left and right each a small compartment with magnetic closure with leather trim.
The removable, padded bag has two additional compartments, which are to be fixed with a Velcro at the desired location.
Stepless adjustable shoulder / carrying handle.

Ein guter mittelklasse Rum, sehr fruchtig mit starken Vanille Noten, Zitrone aber vor allem Orangen und recht wenig Holz. Sehr schwer. Ich trinke ihn mit ein wenig Eis/resp. gekühltem Stein. Super Tasche für wenig Geld - selbst als seperate Einheit für um die (30€) kein Fehlkauf. Ins Hauptfach gehen locker 3 Liter, ins vordere, kleine nochmal gut einer, dazu drei kleine Fächer, jeweils eins an jeder Seite, plus eins im großen Fach. Im großen Fach wird noch eine (leider offene) seperate "Isoliertasche" mitgeliefert.
