Glengoyne produces a light, malty malt with a beautiful soft touch and very nice fruit flavors.
Aroma: dried herbs and soft vanilla, some oak, then light milk chocolate and soft fruit flavors
Taste: Lots of ripe barley and rich vanilla notes, with spicy oak and tropical fruits
Finish: long on the finish - again the barley and herbs, with ripe plums

Persönlicher Besuch der Destillery in Schottland als High Light mit Tasting vor Ort. Danach nochmals Tasting in einem schottischen Pub in Edinburgh und Kauf über Home of Malts in Deutschland. Der Geschmacksnerv ist identisch. Es ist und bleibt der einzige schottische Whiskey, welchen meine Frau abends mit mir trinkt, wenn ich meine Whiskey Vitrine abends öffne.
