In this set you will find next to the 0,7l-bottle Dos Maderas PX 5 + 5 years Rum 40% vol. one 2.2cl bottle each of the five-year blended rum of the Barbados and Guyana rums used for this bottling, which after a second, three-year aging in Palo Cortado's exclusive Sherry "Dos Cortados", a 2.2cl bottle of sherry "Dos Cortados "as well as a bottle of Pedro Ximénez-Sherry" Don Guido of Palo Cortado, in whose barrels the 5 + 5 matures for another two years.
For this bottling five-year rums from Guyana and Barbados were selected, they were married together and stored for another five years in former Pedro Ximénez sherry casks of Dos Cortados Bodega.
Nose: clearly molasses, dates and vanilla
Palate: dark fruits and sweet sherry, again the sweet dates, with plums and oranges - then spicier with notes of allspice and cloves
Finish: long, pleasantly sweet finish with fruity notes of ripe berries
