The 15-year-old Opthimus matured in barrels of the Scottish Malt Whiskey Highland Distillery Tomatin - made in the Solera process.

Nose: fruity-sweet with aromas of spicy oak, warm pastries and sugar cane
Taste: ripe, juicy grapes, soft vanilla notes and spicy notes - dark chocolate above all
Finish: long finish - chocolate again, with vanilla and spicy oak

Positiver Fehlkauf
Eigentlich sollte es ein Whisky werden der ein Rum Finish erhalten hat. Bei genauen Lesen nach der Lieferung stellte sich das Gegenteil heraus. Mein erster Rum in der Sammlung.
Ich bin positiv überrascht!
Aroma: sehr süß, Vanille, Honig , Karamell etwas Apfel und Orange.
Geschmack: Süß und weich auf der Zunge. Dann Toffee, Honig und Vanille. Kakao und Gewürze kommen hinterher.
Nachklang: Langanhaltend und würzige Süße von Früchten und Vanille.
