Springbank's first bottling of a 12 year old single malt whiskey in 2018 - 70% exSherry casks and 30% exBourbon casks were used for this bottling.
Aroma: at the beginning an intense sweetness - clearly glazed cherries, coconut and marzipan, followed by soft aromas of molasses, cloves and honeycombs
Taste: very well balanced with notes of vanilla and black pepper - with strong, dark chocolate, cinnamon and liquorice - above all a delicate smoky note
Departure: maritime note - typical Springbank - slightly salty with soft pastries and caramelized sugar

Eigentlich braucht man nichts anderes ....
Mit ein bisschen Wasser (jeder wie er es mag) besser als vieles, was wesentlich mehr kostet. Ich frage mich immer, warum man so viel probiert und dann doch wieder bei ein paar ganz wenigen landet. ? einfach zum niederknien. Gefühlt bisher der beste 12jährige in Fassstärke von Springbank.
