Once a year Talisker fills the Distillers Edition - matured in exAmoroso sherry casks.

Aroma: the typical Talisker spiciness, with sweet raisins and spicy heather
Taste: clearly peat and again the heather - oak and white pepper - then an oily sweetness with notes of ripe, juicy fruits
Finish: intense cocoa notes, fresh vanilla and earthy peat - above all, a slight sweetness

Gut abgestimmter, mittelmäßig rauchiger Whisky. Aber den Port Ruighe finde ich wegen der kräftigeren Frucht noch etwas besser.
