Product information "Bladnoch Samsara"
For the 200th Anniversary of the Scottish Lowland Distillery, Bladnoch presented this bottling for the first time - matured in Californian ex-red Wine Casks and ex-Bourbon Casks - the Gaelic word samsara means rebirth and very elegantly describes the reopening of the Distillery.

A composition of exBourbon and fully matured Californian red Wine Casks.
The age of the Single Malts used is between 12 and 18 years.

Nose: powerful aromas of fresh fruit compote with plums and grapes - with slight hints of vanilla
Taste: again, the plums, orange blossoms and sweet grapes - behind it light notes of citrus and vanilla
Finish: long finish with slightly sweet hints of ripe oranges and plums
