Named after the "smuggling tool" of the distillery staff of yesteryear, the Copper Dog was a copper, elongated container with a chain, which the staff secretly filled with whisky and hid under their pants legs and smuggled out of the distillery.
Nose: distinct aromas of ripe pears and apples, mild honey and heather - some barley
Taste: dark chocolate and nuts, followed by ripe oranges and mild, spicy notes
Finish: fresh baked and honeyed fruit

Wenn man nur sso einen trinken will ist er sehr zu empfehlen , mild .

Nicht schlecht und natürlich sehr preiswert. Für unseren Geschmack allerdings fehlt es an Komplexität, Copper Dog ist etwas einseitig stak torfig. Wir geben deshalb nur 4 Sterne, aber zu dem Preis kann es ja jeder selbst testen.

Sehr aromatisch und rund im Geschmack. Etwas viel Heidekraut-Aroma - dies ist ein Scherz. Ich wollte ich könnte alle Aromen extrahieren - so wie die Fachleute es können. Ich kann nur beurteilen dass man für das Geld einen tollen Whisky bekommt.
