This bottling is a selected single malt whiskey from the Scottish Isle of Hebrides Islay - the name of the distillery may unfortunately not be named for legal reasons.
Aroma: strong peat smoke, fresh sea air, spicy heather and a good portion of roasted nuts
Taste: lots of smoke and medicinal notes - oily in taste with a slight sweetness behind all the peat and spicy oak
Finish: the smoke is preserved for a long time - with malty notes

Definitiv Islay, Lagerfeuer - sowohl von Schärfe als auch Torf her. Mir etwas zu scharf für den relativ kurzen Nachgang. Bringt einen über den Winter. Dennoch nicht mit Laphroigh Messbar
