The Triple Smoke is a malt whiskey distilled from three different types of malted barley.
Barley is used, which was malted over cherry wood, over beech wood and over peat fire.
The whiskey is stored in burned barrels made of American white oak.
Aroma: an almost irresistible mix of sweetness and smoke
Taste: lots of toasted notes, especially nuts and fresh bread, with fruity notes of figs, cherries and apples - chocolate, soft caramel and peat smoke behind
Finish: long-lasting finish, again the peat smoke, then spicy with slightly nutty notes
