Glendronach's tamped single malt whiskey, initially stored in exBourbon barrels, then in exOloroso and ex Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
Aroma: ripe gooseberries with cinnamon and sugar, with some citrus fruit - then delicate peat flavors, ground barley and traces of vanilla toffee
Taste: spicy oak notes and heather honey with rose petals and barley sugar - over it a warming note of white pepper - then the peat and bonfire embers
Finish: fruity on the finish with a clear peat note and heather fire
