Bunnahabhain Ceòbanach 46.3% vol. 0,7l
Ceòbanach (Gaelic, pronounced kyaw-bin-och) means smoky mist - with an Islay whiskey that suggests peat and smoke - and so it is!
Aroma: Intenisve, almost pungent phenolic aromas, with elegant smoke, some tar and sweet oak - then wet seaweed
Taste: soft and soft, sweet malt, then smoke again and lots of vanilla - white pepper, bitter orange and licorice - some sea salt
Departure: wheat biscuits, peppery smoke and again the sea salt

Bunnahabhain ist auch hier nicht ganz so stark getorft wie seine Islay-Nachbarn. Dennoch ein sehr guter Whisky.
