The Tomatin 14 years was presented in 2014.
The single malt first matured in classic former bourbon barrels and then received a one-year finish in Tawny port wine barrels.

Aroma: fresh melon with honey, lots of red berries and baked apples, a strong toffee flavor, butterscotch, sweet honey and dark chocolate
Taste: clearly fruit and nut - peach, apricot, mango and plum, walnut and pecan nut

Ein guter Whisky mit mildem Sherry-Abgang und - was ich schätze - ohne Torfgeschmack. Als Frau fand ich ihn dennoch recht kräftig.
