The whiskey is made from 95% rye and 5% malted barley.
For at least four years, the whiskey matures in barrels of American white oak.
Nose: slightly spicy aromas, paired with the scent of fresh pastries - dried fruits in the background, a slight sweetness
Taste: soft in the taste, the sweetness is present again and reminiscent of maple syrup - slight oak notes
Finish: velvety-soft finish with light caramel and toffee notes, long-lasting

Sehr guter Bourbon Whisky mit hervorragendem Charakter. Obwohl 95% Anteil Rye (Roggen) ist dieser Whisky mit deutlich teureren (z.B. Prichards Bourbon Double Barreled) absolut ebenbürtig. Wer Bourbon liebt und bestes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sucht, dem ist dieser Whisky nur zu empfehlen.
