Balvenie had this single malt ripen in former Caribbean rum barrels.
The Speysider does the extra sweetness and fruitiness very well.
Nose: very delicate, fresh aromas of exotic fruits, with a pleasant sweetness of vanilla and honey
Taste: the fruits are still present, also the vanilla comes through clearly, some malt and fine smokes in the background
Finish: long, spicy finish with a slight oak note
